2025 Para Coach Experiential Learning Program Grant Application (Cohort 2)

* indicates a required field.

Important Information

The Para Coach Experiential Learning Program (Program) aims to enhance organisation ability to improve the tour learning experience for developing High Performance (HP) Para coaches through authentic experiential learning.

The Program provides two levels of support:

  1. International Tour Grant: Targets developing HP Para coaches who are ready and seeking to gain experiences with international Para coaching teams.
  2. Domestic Tour Grant: Targets developing HP Para coaches who are ready and seeking to gain experiences with domestic Para coaching teams.
    • Applicants should choose the Grant most appropriate for the coach they are applying for.

The Para Coach Experiential Learning Program is an iterated version of the original Experiential Learning Program. However, in addition to providing an authentic international or domestic workplace experiential learning program for developing HP Para coaches who are ready and seeking to gain experiences on international or domestic coaching teams, the Para Coach ELPs will also address the unique needs of coaches travelling with Para athletes.

The Coach selected must be available for:

  • The 1st face to face workshop on Friday 24 - Saturday 25 October 2025, in Melbourne.
  • The 2nd face to face workshop will be held on Friday 12 June 2026, in Melbourne.

  • A copy of the current eligible organisation HP Coach Development Strategy or Plan (a high level overview is acceptable).
  • A concise, written overview of the nominated individual’s experience, including an outline of the Para athlete/s the coach is coaching.
