I have been categorised by my NSO as a Podium, Podium Ready, Podium Potential, Developing or Emerging athlete, in line with the National Athlete Categorisation Framework, as at 16 February 2026.

I am seeking a grant for a recognised Australian University degree or TAFE course from Australian based educational institutes only which are part of the Elite Sport Education Network (ESEN). See the Elite Sport Education Network to check your institution is eligible.

I have NOT previously received Athlete Education Scholarship Funding

I am required to prove my enrolment in the associated units/modules, and if successful in receiving a Grant, will be required to prove I have completed and passed the module at time of completion

I have no anti-doping rule violations or match fixing offences at any time

I am willing to share my experience for the benefit of others, including other athletes.

The AES funding can be used as a contribution towards study in an Approved Course. This may include contribution to course fees and study related costs, e.g. textbooks, travel, uniform and academic transcripts.

Scholarship funds can be used as a contribution to the following activities:
1. Course / Tuition fees
2. Textbooks (hard copy and/or e-books), stationery, learning materials
3. Student contributions (e.g. HECS)
4. Student services & amenities fees
5. Technology purchases (e.g. iPad, laptops)
6. Police checks that are a requirement for course of study
7. Uniforms that are a requirement for a course of study
8. CPR and First Aid courses that are a requirement for a course of study
9. Travel to placements that are a requirement for a course of study

Scholarship funds cannot be used for the following activities:
1. Travel and accommodation related to a sporting event
2. Travel and parking costs related to day-to-day activities at your education institution
