Grant program information

The 2025 HP Coach Development Initiatives Grant Program will provide an Individual Coach Grant of up to $6,000 for HP coaches within NSO/Ds and the NIN to support a program or initiative linked to the coach’s Individual Coach Development Plan (ICDP) and aligned to the Australian HP Coach Development Framework and the HP Coach Development Strategy/plan of the NSO/D or NIN partner.

A total funding pool of $100,000 is available for the 2025 Grant Program.

Successful applicants must participate in a 2-day workshop at the AIS in Canberra in late January-February 2026 to share their insights and learnings. Travel and accommodation costs to attend the 2-day workshop should be included in the application.  The total grant request (project and AIS workshop) should not exceed $6,000.

Projects must occur in 2025.  For projects such as short courses, these may have commenced before the opening of applications (24 March) but must continue beyond.  Applications for courses already completed before the opening of applications will not be considered.  It is understood and recognised that some projects may continue beyond 31 December 2025 and consideration will be given to such projects.

**Please note that SmartyGrants system los you out after 20 minutes of inactivity.  Activity in the system is saving a page or moving onto the next page, typing answers on the same page does not reset the timer.  It is recommended to save your application often particularly on the long answer questions to ensure the system does not log you out and you lose your answers.
